Game Design consists of many varied
tasks. We take the levels from level design and make them playable by adding
NPCs, monsters, scripts and traps. We're also responsible for making the quests
and NPCs come alive. We take the levels, the story, the art, the sounds and the
voices and make it all blend together. It is the great smelting pot where
everything gets together. Another aspect of the department is testing.
All levels must be tested before we start working with them, and they must be
tested again before leaving the department. It is a long process but one of the
most important as one little bug can make the entire mod unplayable.

mah name is Will Acheson. I'm 16 years old and I live a few miles out of nyc.
I first got into modding, about three years ago in Knights of the Old Republic,
which was a bad place to start. When Oblivion came out, my computer couldn't run
it, so i waited a few months to upgrade the video card, that's basically when i
started thinking of mods. The Dark Brotherhood has always been my favorite quest
line in OB. Things I'm in to, Star Wars, Oblivion, Oblivion Modding, discussing
oblivion mods, discussing oblivion lore, mtn biking, Star wars, doggies, Tae
Quon Do,
Paintballing, Star Wars, Oblivion mods, Star Wars, Mtn Dew, Mtn Biking, Mtn
Climbing
etc... I'm a pretty relaxed guy, and i like to think I'm nice, but i have been
told otherwise...

Hey folks! I'm Flinn (people in the real world call me Rob ...whatever). I've
released a few mods, a couple of them have done fairly well. I've been modding
for about
2 years now, on the Unreal engine and then in Oblivion. I never released
anything for the
former. Besides computers, games, and modding I enjoy a slew of outdoor
activities year-round.
I'm a second semester sophomore in college for electrical engineering and
computer engineering.
You'll find me here (of course), as well as the Planet Elder Scrolls Forum, and
on Vent.
I'm in the Game Design section here at the DBC. I build levels, do lighting,
script, do AI, etc.
I can't texture or model my way out of a paper sack though. I look forward to
hearing about
folks not involved in the DBC project, and I wish everyone good luck modding,
gaming,
or with whatever it is that you enjoy.

My interests include programming and gaming, both of which I have been
doing for many years now. Some of my favorite games are Chronotrigger, Morrowind,
Portal, and many obscure freeware games no one has ever heard of . Interests not
related to computers are reading, and that's about it.

A jack of all trades master of none. My biggest area of expertise is imaginative
ideas and grounded logic. I'm adamantly Obsessive over scientific and logical
reasoning.
this is also applied to magic when used in a Fantasy setting. Most of my time is
either
spent poking factual holes in a sertian aspect of a plan or off drawing up
imaginative
plans of my own. Most of my hobbies are based in writing and drawing. I do a lot
of poetry,
though it's not always accepted by others. Most of it is dark or borderline
psychopath.
I also love to mod as in level design and can even build NPCs, do their AI. I
also have
a wicked ear for mixing and remixing sounds and I've even dabbled in Voice
Acting. Jack

I'm chimpmaster.. no wait, my real names Kieran -_- I live in the UK, and I'm a
full time
student 'majoring' in Genetics at Manchester uni. I'm currently in my third year,
and spent
most of my time in my pants lounging around the house, watching English soaps
etc.
I'm a reasonably adept scripter, world builder, I can do AI packages and all
sorts of CS hobnobbery.
Some of my hobbies include: Tae Kwon Do, Genetics, drinking, sitting around in
my pants,
and various monkeys / great apes.
