Just because - (June 27, 2010) -
Swiftblade
It's been a very long time since I've made a news report on
this actual page, but if you've been following our WIP thread at Bethesda's
forums, you should be current on our status. For those of you that do not follow
us there, I am just making this update to inform you that we are still very much
alive. In fact, we are so close to completion, I can actually taste it. Hmm,
tastes like apples... Oh dear...

Progress progress progress! - (February 11, 2010) -
Swiftblade
Oh the sweet scent of progress. It's smelling up the air
around here. (Not that that's a bad thing.)
I have a few things to report on. Just, a few. Where to start,
hmm, let's see.
We've recruited a new team member. Everyone say hello to Sulteric, our new
scripter! You can view his profile on the Game page. Quest scripting is really
starting to pick up with his help. According to my calculations
(I have none.) the mod will be done...
soon. Some time in 2010 I promise you that.
In other news, if you already haven't noticed, I finally updated the site's
design. Long story here, I'll keep it short. I made this design a good two years
ago, and my original plan was to release it on the same day as Awakening. Two
years passed, and I could wait no longer. So, the design now appears before you.
Yay. I also archived a lot of the old news, and moved the archived news from the
old team to a new page.

News? I don't know, you tell me. - (January 20, 2010) - Swiftblade
It's been a while, yeah I know. There hasn't really been anything
to update about, hence the lack of news for 5 months. Wow 5 months, that's a
long time. I bet you're all thinking we're dead. Well no, we're not dead. We're
working diligently. Unfortunately, the mod had to be pushed back, and was not
released in 2009 like we had planned. There were a lot of complications
regarding some very important team members, and things just kind of came to a
grinding halt for a while. No matter though, everything is pretty much
stabilized at this point. Mod 1 is very close to completion. UVing for a very
important location is being worked on right now, which is what's holding us up.
It is almost complete and will soon be handed off to our level designers so they
can make it playable. In other news, I recently joined the modeling team and was
almost instantly promoted to Silencer. I've been building models for things in
mod 1 that haven't been completed, helping move progress along. I plan on
sticking around for mod 2, and mod 3, if we manage to get that far. That's
pretty much it for right now. Stop by the forums and come chat with us.

Progress Report - (August 25, 2009) - Swiftblade
Hello all you anticipated fans out there. How goes it? Oh really?
That's great. No news for a while huh? Well, that's because there's been nothing
to report on. Things have been going real slow with mod development around here.
Two of our Speakers have left us, so the Black Hand is a bit crippled at the
moment. Which leads to me to this:
The Dark Brotherhood Chronicles team is looking for help. Most importantly, help
in our sound department. If you're a sound designer, and or composer, and think
you're skilled enough, join our forums and send a private message to
Silencer.
We're also looking help everywhere else as well, except for level design. So
feel free to apply if you feel you can help. We really need it.

Progress Report - (June 11, 2009) - Swiftblade
Greetings my kin, I come to you today with an update, of sorts.
To start out, I do apologize for the lack of updates. I did not have a computer,
so I had no way to update the site. Thankfully, I got a fresh new one, so that
problem is fixed. Now, on to business.
Silencer,
a member of our team, has provided us all with a nice little progress report.

FAQ
When will the mod be released? Is there an ETA?
This year. There is no ETA as of yet. Posts asking this question will be
deleted. When there is an ETA or date we will let you know. It'll be
shouted from the rooftops, for crying out loud.
Most likely a date will be announced once the mod is ready for final beta
testing (which is set to last for one month).
